Board and Train
Sometimes also referred to as “Doggy Bootcamp”, your pup will come live with and be trained by us in order to lay the groundwork for the new skills they need to learn. This allows your dog to work one-on-one with an experienced trainer in a structured, controlled environment so new routines can be developed and solidified. Your dog will have at minimum three training sessions per day, sometimes more depending on what types of behaviors are being worked on.

Golden Standard Package

The best bang for your buck, and with the highest probability of long-term success, The Golden Standard package is a 3 week long course that provides simultaneous training and practice time for the dog AND their owners under the careful guidance of our head trainer. And the best part? No need to worry about or miss your pup because he comes home from "school" on the weekends!
The Puppy Preschool Package

Available to puppies under 6 months old, we strive to reward those that take initiative in training their new furry family members BEFORE they grow up into big dogs with even bigger problems. We offer both The Golden Standard and Stay and Train Packages at a 40% reduced rate to those pawsome families that plan ahead!
Consistency is KEY
On “Go-home Day” expect to clear out about two hours of your schedule so we can spend that time working together and going over setting the new household boundaries and learning new handling skills. Within the next week block out another hour for a free follow up lesson to touch base on how everything is going and if any guided adjustments need to be made by the trainer.
Completing a board and train with us also opens the door to schedule future in-home private lessons with the intent to help maintain that initial investment of the board and train. CLICK HERE for more information about Private Lessons.
Our programs are based in REALITY – not “promises”
We won’t promise you the moon, and our clients respect that. Many training programs out there revolve around sweet talk and inflating unrealistic expectations in order to make that sale.
At Top City Dogs, we are trainers – not mythical fairies who can wave magic wands and completely change the personality of a self-thinking, decision making creature in a few weeks time. Even after sending your dog to us for training, reshaping their behavior and ensuring that these changes are permanent in the home environment is going to take work on your part.
We will always be here to help, but Top City Dogs reserves the right to refuse services to individuals who we feel are not serious about learning, nor willing to make some lifestyle changes in the name of having a better relationship with their dog.

At TCD we only ever take on ONE board and train client at a time to ensure that they are receiving our undivided attention and as many daily sessions as possible.

We are not blind to the many horror stories out there about disgraceful animal abusers passing themselves off as “trainers” and doing awful things behind closed doors. We understand any hesitation you may have and we encourage our potential clients to reach out to us and set up an appointment to come meet us, see our property and accomodations, and decide for themselves if they feel comfortable trusting us with their dog’s care and training. We have nothing to hide away and would love to meet you and your pup face-to-face too!
