FAQ

Quick answers to our most commonly asked questions.

Q: Do you offer Doggy Daycare?

A: Yes - but its probably not the kind you're thinking of. Our Solo Scholars and Tiny Tykes programs are specialized day training programs geared towards individual care, enrichment, exercise, and practicing good behaviors. Read more about them HERE (page coming soon)

Q: Why can't I find your address?! I want to come see the place before I make a reservation!

A: Please keep in mind that Top City Dogs is not just a dog boarding facility - it is our home! We are open strictly by appointment only. To help prevent unexpected visitors, we do not post our address publicly. It would be our pleasure to schedule a time for you to stop by and visit, but we require our privacy during our time off. As well, the dogs that actually live here full-time don't appreciate strangers popping by unannounced. Please be respectful of our home.

Q: Do you board other animals besides dogs?

A: Possibly, but we would need to visit this on a case-by-case basis. We are best set-up for dogs, however we could certainly make some room for some beloved small reptiles and rodents if their canine family members were also boarding with us.

We are not currently equipped to take on farm animals or cats (our two resident cats would not like to share their space).  This may change in the future as we grow and expand.

Q: Do you teach classes?

We provide private lessons and offer a drop-in group class during the Spring called The Good Dog Club! Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2026 GDC Schedule.

Q: Do you give in-home lessons?

Yes! Information and pricing can be found here (link page)

Q: Can you make my dog a certified Service Dog/Emotional Support Dog/Therapy Dog/Etc.?

No, we cannot, and we HIGHLY encourage anyone asking this question to be very cautious of any trainer who claims they can "certify" their pet to be anything.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CERTIFICATION FOR A LEGAL SERVICE DOG but there are a lot of scams - both online and through in-person trainers - that claim otherwise and make a lot of profit due to the public's ignorance regarding this subject and then encourage those clients to unknowingly break federal law. Also keep in mind that ignorance of the law does not

Please familiarize yourself with the Federal Laws regarding Service Dogs on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website - HERE
