​TCD works closely with working rescues such as the American Belgian Malinois Rescue to house, feed, provide veterinary care, and train homeless and displaced dogs while they are awaiting adoption from their forever families.  Read more about our past and current Foster Dogs HERE.

Saving the world one tuft of loose dog hair at a time, TCD packs up all of the loose hair we clean up from our guests and ships it off to Matter of Trust, a genius operation that are used to clean up creates ulta-absorbant felted mats that are utilized in cleaning up oil spills from road runoffs and shorelines. In conjunction with our friends at Camo Cross Dog Training, the TCD team helps organize and donates items to the annual Bark for Life event in Topeka, providing funding for research though The American Cancer Society.

Each year during the month of December (our busiest month), 10% of our profits are donated to our local United Kennel Club chapter to assist the club with future events, community outreach, and their volunteer services.

TCD partners with the Kansas Search and Rescue Dog Association (KSARDA) and provides our property and facility to the team to use to train their SAR K9s! Team KSARDA trains with us multiple times per year to ensure their dogs are always ready to respond to real missing persons cases and disasters all around the Midwest!
